I asked codex “find out if this Mac is still trusting that bad cert and remediate if so”. I got a few commands out of it to run myself with sudo, and now I’m good.

Rather than prompting the mechanical parrot, you can also refer to Apple's own website: https://support.apple.com/en-us/149555

I don't know why they haven't rolled out an update if they've already wrote a whole article about patching the problem yourself.
