Any chance to get quake-style terminal (AKA dropdown terminal) in KDE like guake and yakuake? That is the one thing keeping me from switching.

I'm using the quick terminal setting to do this.

Ah thanks, I will check it out.

Last time I checked it didn't work on Linux (or I couldn't make it work on my setup, I don't remember). It seems it still has some limitations but better than before.

I tried so hard to use the quick terminal but it does not work anywhere close to as nice as iTerm2's hotkey window.

  keybind = global:cmd+ctrl+alt+shift+t=toggle_visibility

overall I have had better experience using `toggle_visibility` to show/hide Ghostty for hotkey style window.
